In the Middle of Stillness - necklace

This necklace holds one single beach stone, chosen for how naturally centered and balanced it felt in the hand: not the biggest or flashiest stone I've found, but the calmest. It's the kind of stone you'd pick up on a quiet morning walk when the shore is empty and there's no reason to rush.

Rather than wrapping it in visible wire patterns, I let the metal frame sit close and simple, so the eye goes straight to the stone's texture, every ridge and worn edge exactly as the sea left it. Nothing about this piece is polished or perfected; that unevenness is the whole point.
